Spring Soundbath

with Jaimie Maher

Saturday, April 19, 2025
5:30 - 7:00 PM
Join us for a springtime “Sound Bath” gathering at Madrone Arts, just in time for Earthday. Enjoy an evening of reflection and renewal. As winter thaws and gives way to the promise of longer warmer days ahead, we are called to reflect, and nurture the seeds of growth and renewal. Jaimie Maher will lead the group through a guided meditation, playing a variety of crystal bowls, gongs and bells to create a room-filling “Sound Bath.” During the evening, we will sip warm herbal tea to support and rejuvenate our bodies and souls as we celebrate the earth and this season of growth and renewal. What dreams are you bringing to life? What intentions are you cultivating? This is a time to nurture yourself, and connect within, and realign with the cycles of nature. This event will be held in the Madrone Gallery. Attendees are asked to bring yoga mats. Blankets are also strongly suggested as the gallery is cool during the evenings. Eye pillows can also be nice, if you have them. Attendees must be 18 or older.

The New Screen Printing Basics

with Diane Costello

Sunday, April 27, 2025
11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Silkscreen is a way to print almost any design on almost any surface (think a t-shirt from your favorite vacation spot). Traditionally, the process requires special printing equipment and photochemicals to “burn” a design onto a screen. The “burned” screen is then set on top of the item to be screened and paint is scraped across the screen to transfer the design to the item. In this workshop, however, you will have an opportunity to learn “new and easier” ways of silk screen printing that do not require the use of traditional chemicals or a dark room! With Diane’s instruction, you’ll be taught how to use the Cricut® or Silhouette vinyl cutting machines to create your very own screen prints. The sky is the limit! Everyone will take home a single screen print. Basic Materials included. This class is intended for adults 18+
