My artistic journey is an exploration of the dichotomy between vulnerability and strength, as represented in my equine pieces and seascapes. Through my equine art, I seek to delve into themes of resilience and fragility, employing an anthropomorphic perspective to explore profound emotional experiences. My seascapes, on the other hand, illuminate our vulnerability to nature's overwhelming forces, metaphorically paralleling the internal tumults we each navigate. In my practice, I use charcoal, acrylics, and oils, embracing traditional techniques to establish a link with the art historical lineage. This approach is not only a nod to the artists who have shaped my perspective but also an homage to the blend of art and science that painting embodies. It is my hope that through these explorations, my work resonates as a form of contemporary mysticism, weaving together imagery and a deep reverence for the artistic tradition.
