Karen Whitaker

I am strongly moved by ambient landscapes and experimenting with new techniques and color. My work has been described as having a subtlety of subject as it bridges the gap between abstraction and representational art. Inspiration comes from various sources and am most affected by Native American, atmospheric and ambient music as it allows me to enter areas of introspection and emotion.
